Project goal<\/strong>: Our long-term client, one of the leading global providers of insurance and retirement products, was seeking data on the cost of treating diseases with the highest likelihood of occurrence in Poland. They were primarily interested in the patient\u2019s perspective. The analysis was also to include information on rare diseases for which patients in Poland often incur very high treatment costs. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Project implementation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hume\u2019s Institute consultants carried out the project using both secondary and primary sources. Fast execution was possible thanks to many years of experience in the healthcare sector and a deep understanding of information sources and healthcare system mechanisms. Due to the lack of open sources on patient-borne costs, our researchers conducted a series of in-depth expert interviews<\/strong> with representatives of patient organizations and physicians. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
