ERP Systems in Poland: Implementation Market Analysis

ERP Systems in Poland: Implementation Market Analysis

For one of the companies operating in the Polish ERP implementation market, an ERP market analysis was conducted. The project included dedicated B2B quantitative demand-side research, an analysis of the competitive environment, mapping of integrators and implementation firms, as well as the development of market growth forecasts.

Client Expectations

The client is one of the key implementation partners of one of the largest ERP software producers. The client’s goal was to obtain information on the size and structure of the ERP software market (particularly the share of software that forms the core of business operations), its growth prospects, the motivations of businesses implementing ERP systems, and their experiences and opinions regarding various providers. This information was intended to help the client better understand the current market situation and support the development of their business strategy.

Research process

As part of the project, PMR conducted a quantitative survey on a sample of 100 companies using the CATI technique. The study covered medium and large companies using ERP systems in seven industries. A number of indicators describing the value and structure of the ERP software market in Poland were also calculated, and forecasts for its development for the years 2024–2028 were prepared.

Additionally, desk research was conducted to map companies operating in the ERP market in Poland in general and to distinguish those that directly compete with the client.

The result of the project was a comprehensive report consisting of two parts: analytical and research-based.

The analytical section presented how the value and volume indicators describing the market have historically evolved, along with development forecasts through 2028. Factors influencing the market were also discussed.

Additionally, profiles of companies competing with the client were presented. The research section discussed all quantitative survey results and included visualizations of the findings. The client also received a database of companies operating in the Polish ERP market, containing various information such as area of activity, revenues, and the industries to which they sell their services.
